How We Source Buildings | Boxx Modular

Boxx Modular is an independent China sourcing and procurement service, unaffiliated with the original brand and without dealership authorization. Our role is to organize China supplier responses around a common description of the building and the site. You can use the resulting scope comparison to see where a lower quote moves work to your installation contractor.

One brief for each bidding supplier

A buyer with a fixed opening date and a tight access road needs the same assumptions in each bid. We record module dimensions, occupancy, quantities, climate criteria, interiors and the window for offloading. Where an input is missing, the comparison marks which offers depend on it.

A scope sheet distinguishes installed wiring and plumbing from incoming services, field hookups and commissioning. It gives the buyer a row to price each exclusion before comparing totals.

Who owns each approval

Selected suppliers provide manufacturing records and product evidence. A local engineer or authority evaluates what applies to the site. If a bidder submits ISO 9001, check the entity and scope on the certificate and request separate evidence for the exact wall or steel assembly.

Ask to see the quotation matrix, sample request, inspection scope and packing checklist. Confirm which party will collect each record and when the record becomes available. Keep unresolved exclusions visible when choosing whom to shortlist.

What we check before forwarding a quote

Say the missing number

Before requesting a revised price, identify the missing site inputs, the person who will confirm them and the offer lines that will change. Wind speed without its exposure and load basis leaves the frame and anchorage scope open.

Measure the initial unit

Ask for a first-unit record with measured diagonals, opening sizes and lifting-point locations referenced to an approved drawing revision. For repeat units, specify which measurements the inspector should sample.

Name the coating

Request the coating system by material, environment and repair method. Ask the bidder to identify field-drilled holes, welded repairs and other surfaces that need attention after delivery.

Leave a trail

Record each calculation, shop drawing or material submittal against the supplier and quoted model. A revised schedule should show who acknowledged the latest revision and whether the price still applies.

Send a project brief

Start with a plan or dimensions, a destination country and the number of occupied rooms. Describe any overnight use, access limitations and target installation week. Add the foundation and weather inputs if available.

For a repeat purchase, share the existing opening dimensions and connection details so the new shortlist can flag incompatibilities. Have your installer confirm who will supply seals, trims and spare fasteners.
